"I initially started my fitness training just to get fitter and healthier. It has developed into just being a part of my everyday lifestyle and who I now am in general. I love to be out training in the fresh air, numerous times every week with an awesome trainer. Even my holidays nowadays generally have some fitness activity involved somewhere.
My general health and fitness have been hugely improved from my training. Since training with Matt my running times have reduced significantly with my ½ marathon time now being over 20 mins less than it was previously, and with 11 minutes off my 10k and 3 ½ minutes off my 5k times!"
"I started training to improve my overall levels of fitness with the main aim of trying to run a marathon without walking any part of it. I also wanted to try to improve my running times over various distances.
As soon as I started training with Matt I noticed huge improvements in my fitness and self-confidence. Even when I’m having a bad day Matt always helps to encourage me to keep going and I always feel much more positive after a session. This year I even completed my goal of running a marathon without walking any part of it!"
"Training outdoors has provided me with lot of benefits and a welcome change from inside a gym. Being outside is fantastic as you enjoy great scenery and train in all different weathers. The classes are never the same twice. You don’t know where you will end up going or doing, which always makes for a real varied fitness class.
I have gained so many friends from group training sessions and Matt is a big advocate of organising and encouraging activities outside of the classes. This includes social meet ups, quiz nights and fitness events. I also enjoyed taking on the ‘Superhuman Games’ with Matt in a one day fitness festival in Bristol. The event was a great weekend away with fun, laughter, and some tough workouts thrown in!"
" I had always wanted to be super fit and to get there in a fun way, rather than it being a laborious process. Through training with Matt my running times have dropped considerably and perhaps, more importantly, my physical and mental resilience has increased. It’s no longer an issue competing in hard events in the worst conditions. I also feel stronger and my general wellbeing has improved too (although these are almost side effects as I just enjoy the sessions!)."
